Research data can be stored in data archives. These repositories can be used in two ways: for storing your own research data and to consult the data of others.
NARCIS offers access to thousands of scientific datasets and e-publications in the Netherlands.
Since 2017 all UvA researchers have access to the UvA/AUAS figshare. UvA/AUAS figshare allows you to save your research data safely and in an accessible manner; your files are stored on ISO certified servers in Switzerland which you can access from any computer with an internet connection.
Furthermore, UvA/AUAS figshare allows you to safely share, archive, and publish your research data. Every published item is allocated a Digital Object Identifier (DOI), a unique and permanent link, which you can use for articles and presentations.
For general questions concerning research data management, please consult RDM Support. For archaeological specific questions, please see the RDM contact for Archaeology or the information specialist for Archaeology.
